Mrs. Winifred Akpani - Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer
Mrs. Winifred Akpani holds a B.SC degree in Mathematics with a Second Class Honours Upper Division from the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Lagos. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and an Associate Member of the Institute of Directors. Mrs. Akpani has over 20 years post graduation experience starting in 1987  as a Trainee Accountant in Oni Lasebikan & Co. (now Ernst & Young,) an Accounting Firm. Thereafter, she moved to Arthur Anderson & co. (now KPMG Professional Services); where she qualified as a chartered Accountant in 1990.

She left practice in 1992 as an Audit Senior and joined Flame Petroleum and Gas Company Limited, a start-up Oil Marketing Company as Financial Controller. She rose through management and became an Executive Director in 1997. Mrs. Akpani is also a Director of Millenium Oil and Gas Company Limited, Operator of Oza Marginal field and Northwest Energy Nigeria Ltd, a Company in the exploration and production sector. She is also a Director of Fleet Travels and Tours Nigeria Limited, a first class Travel Agency and has varied interests in the Banking industry.

Mr. Collins Ogbu - Head, Operations
Mr. Ogbu is a graduate of physics from the University of Jos, Plateau State. He also obtained M.Sc in Geophysics from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Mr. Ogbu has over 17 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry. He worked with Geosource Nigeria limited where he was involved in data initialization and geometry corrections for Shell and Agip amongst others. He later joined Northwest Petroleum and Gas Limited, where he has been involved in the highest level of management. He oversees all of the company’s operations and initiated quite a few ventures.

He has attended several seminars, workshop and professional training on Oil and Gas Industry within and outside Nigeria. He is a member of many professional bodies such as Nigeria Association of Petroleum Exploration (NAPE), Nigeria Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS) amongst others. He has been actively involved in all areas of management of the company.

Mr. Uchenna Onwude - Financial Controller
Mr. Uche Onwude is an Accounting graduate of Enugu State University of Science & Technology, Enugu. He also holds a Master in degree in Business Administration from Nnamdi Azikwe University, Akwa, Anambra State.

He worked as an Accounting Officer of MRS Nigeria Limited, Apapa, Lagos, an Oil Marketing company. He also worked as Chief Accounting Officer of Sigmund Communnecci Limited from where he later joined Northwest Petroleum & Gas Company Limited as Financial Controller.

Mr. Onwude is a member of many professional bodies like the Chartered Institute of Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Marketers of Nigeria and Nigeria Institute of Management. He has attended many seminars, workshops and professional training in the Oil & Gas Industry within and outside the country including the International Oil Trading Course (CITAC, Certified), London amongst others.

Mr. Lucas Nwajei - Terminal Manager
Mr. Nwajei is a graduate of Electrical Electronics Engineering with a Second Class Honours Upper Division from the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Akwa, Anambra State.

Mr. Nwajei has over 17 years post graduation experience, most of which was spent in the Oil and Gas Industry, Oil Servicing & Consulting Firms. He worked with SNEPCO Well Engineering Department, Lagos as Head of Business Support amongst many other reputable companies. He has attended several Courses, Workshops and Professional Training in the Oil and Gas Industry.

He is actively involved in managing the Company's Petroleum Products Storage Depot in Calabar, Cross Rivers State.

Mr. Cyril Okolo - Head, Business Development & Logistics
Mr. Okolo is a graduate of Physics from the University Of Ibadan, Oyo State. He has over 7 years experience in the Oil & Gas Industry. He has worked with the Department Of Petroleum Resources (DPR) where he was involved in regulatory processes and data formation in the Oil and Gas Industry.

He has attended many seminars, workshop and professional training in the oil & gas industry both within and outside the country including the International Oil Trading Course (CITAC, Certified). London amongst others. 

Blessing Udevbure - Head, Legal & Corporate Services
Miss Udevbure holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University Of Benin, Edo State. She obtained her Bachelors –at – Law at the Nigeria Law School, Lagos. She is a member of the Nigeria bar association (NBA) and the International Female Lawyers Association (FIDA). She is also a member of the Negotiation & Conflict Management Group (NCMG).

She started her career working with A.O. Akanle, SAN & Co. as a pupil counsel in 2001 and became a full Solicitor & Advocate in 2002. She thereafter joined Ekwem & Ekwem, a Firm of Barristers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, as an associate and shortly after rose to the position of Head, Corporate/ Commercial Services, where she remained until 2005 when she joined Northwest Petroleum & Gas Co. Ltd.
